"How much do you love me?" - By Tim McMorris | Back to poems |

A mighty hand does guide my life,
My path is clear and straight.
My way is bright, I'm with the Lord,
Salvation is my fate.
The Word of God dwells in my heart,
No fear is kept within,
This word of Him who dwells in me,
It keeps me free from sin.
Oh thank you Lord, for saving me,
For bringing me to you,
Without you Lord, without your love,
I don't know what I'd do.
But I must ask, Oh Lord my God,
How much do you love me?
And then a voice rose up and said:
"So much, I gave my son for thee."
